I’m not sure why you were so bothered by this story, which I intended as showing how my cousin was able to forgive herself in the last years of her life before she died. I’m glad you had a better knowledge of the facts of life than my cousin or me. We were not lucky to have this knowledge back then. I know many unplanned teen pregnancy stories had different endings, but this is my cousin’s story. She lived with so much guilt and pain all of her life. The biological father had none. In fact, he was probably considered a “man” back in high school. I think you misunderstood my intent. My cousin was able to forgive herself in the end, and she was very open about it in her later years.
